Colette has been drawing as far back as she remembers, a passion she shares with her two daughters Eve and Abigail around the kitchen table.

Her daughter Abigail, age five, was the youngest shortlisted artist in the prestigious AIB Portrait Prize 2025 at the at the National Gallery of Ireland. Abigail's mixed media self portrait was framed and displayed at the National Gallery and then it moved to the regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

Colette studied Art and Design, Costume Design and Make-Up Artistry, Millinery and Beauty Therapy.

Colette was the owner of Glow Make up and Beauty Salon in the Merrion Centre, Dublin 4 for five years. She loved being the make-up artist for many magazine photo shoots, TV appearances and working with brides all over Ireland to make them look and feel their best on their special day.

When COVID came like many others in the creative industry she found bookings slowed down and she went back to her original love of drawing setting up her instagram one_sketch_per_day_
